"GeoLyft didn't just build us a website — they put us in front of the people searching for movers in Virginia right now. The phone rings more, and it rings with the right customers. The whole move from invisible to booked-out happened faster than we expected."

ABOUT
Top Notch Pro Movers is a full-service moving company serving the greater Tampa Bay area. The company handles local and long-distance relocations, commercial and military moves, and offers packing, labor-only, and secure storage services — covering the entire move from the first box to the last.
What separates them in a crowded market is operational discipline. Every job is run by full-time, trained crews — never temporary day labor — with local moves starting at $149/hour. Their entire positioning is built on one promise: a genuinely hassle-free move, backed by people who do this for a living.
CHALLENGE
Standing out in one of the toughest local-search markets there is
Moving is one of the most competitive and least forgiving categories in local search. A query like “movers in Tampa” returns a wall of national lead-aggregators, directories, and established local companies sitting on years of reviews and domain authority. For a growing company, the disadvantage compounds: a newer website carries little authority, the Google Business Profile is thin, and there is almost no presence in the local Map Pack — the three-result block where the majority of high-intent moving clicks and calls actually happen.
That creates a familiar trap. The phone rings on brand searches — people who already heard the name somewhere — but the business stays invisible for the unbranded “movers near me” demand, which is where the real volume and the best-fit customers live. And even the traffic that did arrive met a website that didn’t make requesting a quote effortless. Visibility and conversion were leaking at the same time.
SOLUTION
A local-search system built to turn Tampa searches into booked moves
GeoLyft treated Top Notch Pro Movers as a single connected system — profile, website, and content all reinforcing each other — rather than a stack of disconnected tactics. The objective was specific: own the high-intent local searches across Tampa Bay, and make it effortless to request a quote the moment a customer lands.
1. Google Business Profile optimization
We rebuilt the profile from the category up — accurate primary and secondary categories, a clearly defined service area across Tampa and its suburbs, complete service descriptions, and a steady cadence of real photos and posts. A structured review-generation routine was put in place to build the volume and recency Google rewards inside the Map Pack.
2. A conversion-first website
GeoLyft designed and built the site around one job: getting a quote request. A 60-second quote form, prominent click-to-call, the $149/hour price anchor, and trust signals — full-time trained crews and real customer video reviews — were placed where they do the most work, so hard-won traffic converts instead of bouncing.
3. Service & location page architecture
We built dedicated pages for every service (full service, packing, labor-only, storage) and every move type (local, long-distance, commercial, military), then layered in location pages for surrounding cities. This lets the site rank for the specific, high-intent searches customers actually type — “Local movers in Virginia” — instead of competing on a single generic homepage.
4. Profile–website alignment & ongoing content
Google cross-references the Business Profile against the website, so we kept categories, services, and contact details consistent across both to build trust. A blog program — packing guides, family moving checklists, how to choose a mover — built topical authority and captured long-tail searches that feed the funnel earlier.
